Guaranteed proof-of-attendance
The Business Acuity RFID product allows you to place cheap RFID tags everywhere you wish to record your employee's presence. An obvious choice is to place one or more at each of your customer sites. Other tag locations could be depots, warehouses, offices, in vehicles, etc. Your employee simply touches the tag with their phone and you instantly know where they are. If you want to be sure that the customer has seen the work done, give them a keyfob tag so they can touch the workers phone with it to "sign" - they could even choose a quality level too....

Simple data capture
But the tag isn't just a "time-stamp machine". It can also be aware of its context - as a Door tag, a Customer tag, a Vehicle tag, whatever you decide, and then present the worker with context-sensitive options. For example:

• Door tag that ask In or Out at offices and warehouses
• Vehicle tag that asks Start Shift or End Shift, and then requests entry of the mileage from the odometer
• Customer tag that allows Start and End job details to be input, products used to be entered, even competitors products on the same site could be noted.....
• Product tag on warehouse shelves that allows stock transfers to the employees vehicle

Not interested in proving where they are?
Depending on the type of employee, you may not be interested in where they are, but you do need to capture some data from them. Typical examples could be your sales reps recording their timesheets and mileage, or employees visiting one-off customers and needing to record some job details. The Business Acuity MOBILE application works in exactly the same way as the RFID product, but without the need to touch a tag.
